An Educational Visit to Panaga Police Station

Yr 6 and Yr 5 went for an educational visit to Panaga Police Station this morning. This is Yr 6's first educational visit for this year. Our bus arrived at 8 am. Pupils were accompanied by Cg Azlina, Cg Farah, Cg Hjh Suria, Cg Siti Hawa, Cg Hj Alimin and Cg Jastina. It took us approx. 20 mins to arrive at the station. Pupils were asked to assemble infront of the hall before they went in for a brief talk.

The talk was presented by an officer. After that, we had a look at the displays of weapons, pictures and CSI items used for investigations. Pupils were especially excited to try the weapon (don't worry, it's empty. :)).

Then, we were brought to the front of the station building for a group picture. There were also several reporters from Media Permata and Borneo Bulletin.

Shortly after that, this is what the pupils have been waiting for, a tour to the jail room. Everyone were very excited and some them even went into the cell to experience the feeling of being locked up (even the TP teachers).

Next, we had a look at two of the STS patrol car. A few of us even had a ride in it. Before we finished off our visit, we were given refreshments.

And lastly, a souvenier from SR Sungai Liang was presented by Cg Hj Alimin (on behalf of the school) to the Head Officer of Panaga police Station.

We would like to thank all the officers in Panaga Police Station for your hospitality to entertained us. Overall, everyone had so much fun and learned something from the visit.
